In one week's time, 129 trainees will complete their Naval Foundation Module as part of the Basic Specialisation Course 1 (BSC1). Many of these trainees came straight from BMT, and were issued with our Navy uniforms halfway through the course. This is why you still see some of them wearing green!
During the 6-week training, they learnt core sailor skills such as bridge watch keeping, seamanship, and fire fighting and damage control. Following this, they will be sent to train in their respective vocations.
To the batch of 42/20 BSC1, welcome to the Navy family! Continue to train hard and make us proud!
