Deepening Relationship with the German Navy

Our Chief of Navy RADM Aaron Beng made a working visit to German Navy (GN) from 13 to 14 December 2022, where he was hosted by Chief of German Navy VADM Jan Christian Kaack.

During his visit, RADM Beng visited the Eckernförde Naval Base where he was given a brief on the capabilities of the GN's 1st Submarine Squadron and the Hydroacoustic Analysis Centre.

RADM Beng also visited the Submarine Training Centre (STC) to understand more about the GN’s extensive training ashore the STC, and use of simulators of their Type 212A submarine systems to provide realistic individual and team training to future crew and prepare them as trained submariners.

This working visit reaffirmed the strong and growing bilateral relationship and defence cooperation between the RSN and GN.
