Charting the Course for Global Maritime Cooperation at the 25th International Seapower Symposium

Our Chief of Navy RADM Sean Wat attended the recent 25th International Seapower Symposium (ISS) held in Newport, US from 19 to 22 September. The biennial event saw a gathering of naval leaders from around the world to share, discuss and deliberate on matters of global maritime significance.

At the biennial event, RADM Wat shared insights on how the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) leverages artificial intelligence and unmanned technologies to safeguard Singapore's maritime interests.

During his time in Newport, RADM Wat met several commanders from the United States. They include host, (from left) Vice Chief of Naval Operations ADM Lisa Franchetti, Commander Pacific Fleet ADM Samuel Paparo, and US Coast Guard Commandant ADM Linda Fagan.

RADM Wat also met with counterparts from other navies and coast guards.
