PASSEX with Vietnam People's Navy

Last week, our Endurance-class Landing Ship Tank, RSS Endeavour conducted a Passage Exercise (PASSEX) with Vietnam People's Navy (VPN) Gepard-Class Frigate Lý Thái Tổ after a port call at Cam Rahn Bay as part of the Midshipman Sea Training Deployment.

During the PASSEX, both ships conducted serials such as a Manoeuvring Exercise (MANEX) before ending off with a sailpast.

PASSEXes are useful for strengthening mutual understanding and enhancing interoperability with our Naval counterparts. We thank our VPN friends for a successful PASSEX and we look forward to meeting them again in future.
