On 23 Aug 2024, our Formidable-class frigate RSS Stalwart conducted a passage exercise (PASSEX) with the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force's (JMSDF) Asagiri-class destroyer JS Yūgiri. During the exercise, the ships conducted a series of communication serials and tactical manoeuvres to enhance mutual understanding.

Whilst ashore in Yokosuka, Officers from RSS Stalwart (far right) and JS Yūgiri (far left) came together to plan the exercise serials.

Wishing our friends on board JS Yūgiri "Fair Winds & Following Seas" as we concluded the PASSEX with a farewell sailpast!
Prior to the PASSEX, RSS Stalwart called into Yokosuka, Japan, and interacted with personnel from JMSDF.
