Maritime Security and Response Flotilla participates in the Multinational Group Sail

Last week, our Maritime Security and Response Flotilla (MSRF), along with their counterparts from 12 regional and extra regional coast guards and navies, participated in the second edition of Multinational Group Sail (MNGS) led by the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
Last week, our Maritime Security and Response Force (MSRF), along with their counterparts from 12 regional and extra regional coast guards and navies, participated in the second edition of Multinational Group Sail (MNGS) led by the United States Coast Guard (USCG).
This biennial exercise was a good opportunity for participants to share best practices, enhance people-to-people ties, and to work towards a more secured maritime environment.
We wish the participants a fruitful sea phase this week.
Here are some highlights of the exercise.

This exercise was joined by participants from 13 Coast Guards and Navies.

During the subject matter expert exchange as well as during the ship visits, participants shared their experiences about the conduct of maritime security operations.

Commanding Officer USCGC Midgett CAPT Brian R. Whisler called on Commander Maritime Security and Response Flotilla SLTC Neville Nah where they discussed the importance of multilateral cooperation in tackling maritime security threats.

Sharing light-hearted moments through a round of friendly sports to build camaraderie amongst the participants.

A journey to the Navy Museum gave our participants insights into the history and heritage of our Navy.
