Chief of Navy's Working Visit to the United States

Our Chief of Navy RADM Sean Wat conducted a working visit to the United States last week. He attended the Navy Marine Corps 250 (NMC 250) celebrations at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and also met with several of his counterparts. He was accompanied by Defence Attaché (Washington D.C.) BG Lim Kok Hong and Head Naval Intelligence SLTC Tung Wanling.

RADM Wat met with Chief of Naval Operations (CNO) US Navy ADM Daryl Caudle. Both Chiefs discussed a wide range of topics, including reviewing our bilateral interactions and exploring areas to further deepen collaboration. RADM Wat also participated in the CNO-hosted roundtable on "FLEET: Sailor Full-Spectrum Readiness", and shared the RSN's approach on maintaining sailor readiness. We look forward to further strengthening the bilateral relationship between our navies.

On the sidelines of the event, RADM Wat also met with the Secretary of the Navy, Hon. John Phelan, where he underscored the strong bilateral relationship between our navies.

These engagements provided an important platform for deepening partnerships, sharing insights, and reaffirming the Republic of Singapore Navy's commitment to strong and enduring relationships with its international counterparts.
