RSN and NUS-SCALE Sign MOU to Implement Resilience Training
2 December 2025
The Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the National University of Singapore (NUS) have signed a MOU to enhance Continuous Training and Learning for our servicemen, represented by Head of Naval Training Department SLTC Jamin Lau (left) and Dean, School of Continuing and Lifelong Education Associate Chai Kah Hin (right) respectively.

Under the MOU, the formalised collaboration with NUS will focus on identifying and matching RSN's technical needs with existing and suitable courses across NUS, as well as customising a Foundational Resilience Training Course (FRTC) for our RSN instructors and curriculum developers. This course will equip them to design and deliver effective resilience training programmes. In addition to the FRTC, the MOU also enables NUS to align RSN's technical needs with suitable NUS courses.
The agreement underscores RSN's commitment to a strong, long-term partnership that advances workforce readiness and resilience.
