S-70B Seahawk Naval Helicopter
Expanding the reach and capabilities of our ships

Learn how this versatile aircraft acts as a flying force multiplier for our ships
The naval helicopters, operated by the Republic of Singapore Navy (RSN) and the Republic of Singapore Air Force, enhance the anti-surface and anti-submarine fighting capabilities of the Formidable-class frigates. The naval helicopters enables the frigates to undertake anti-surface and anti-submarine missions at longer ranges, increasing force-level awareness and mission effectiveness. The RSN has six Formidable-class frigates, each designed to carry a naval helicopter.
